Reaching into Rural America's Past

The Country Shoppe

A very popular building at Pioneer Farmers is the Country Shoppe. The building was first built and opened in 1994 with Fran Skasdem being the director of it. At that time the building was known as the Women's Activites Building, since then though activites and crafts are held in the Levorsen Building and others buildings around the grounds. Currently the Country Shoppe is ran by Karla Netland. Items that are for sale include: Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers sweatshirts and t-shirts, lots of handmade items such as towels, rugs, homemade foods, and antique items.
